It has not been ruled a drug overdose! It could have been a heart attack or an aneurysm, let's not all jump on the "it was drugs!"

But he was the face of Glee, he was glee (not the show, the word), just seemed so happy and smiling all the time, came off as a great great who had issues and were addressing them. So so so sad.

I did not know Lea Michele and Cory Monteith were going to get Married. This makes this news all the more tragic. I can't fathom what she is going through at this moment. :(

Haven't watched "Glee" in a while (I'm kinda still mad at them for what they did to Rocky, LOL) but I really liked the first couple of seasons...

Damn, it really sucks about Cory Monteith (who also had acouple of small roles on "Stargate: SG-1" and "Stargate: Atlantis", btw) - drug addiction is...a hard to monster to kill. :(

It was heroin and alcohol in combination. Why do people do this to themselves?

So sad. It started when he was so young, which probably made it harder to change.

Because addiction sucks. I never touched anything harder than vodka, but getting clean was probably the hardest mountain I'll ever climb in my life.

Yeah, because we all know that an otherwise healthy 31-year-old with a history of substance abuse could drop dead of a heart attack or aneurysm.

    You stand corrected.

He used drugs and booze heavily from age 13 to 19, that could cause heart issues. Healthy 30 year olds without drug issues die from heart issues.

My point was why not wait for the news instead of just making it up. You don't have to be a dick about it.

    You assume too much.

Also, I meant to type "abuse," not of use.

    I stand corrected.

I went to elementary school with Cory. We were friends then, but lost touch years ago. I had my first schoolyard fight with Cory in the 2nd grade. Very sad.
