I've been collecting lots of Trek DVDs recently. I hope to get them all one day (if shelf space and wallet space allows for it, of course). I currently have: All three seasons of TOS remastered TNG seasons 4, 5, and 6 DS9 seasons 4,5,6, and 7 VOY seasons 3 and 4 ENT seasons 3 and 4 All of the movies (including XI) Borg Fan Collective Klingon Fan Collective Time Travel Fan Collective So a fairly big collection, then. I'm halfway there, actually. Only 14 seasons out of 28 still to go! Oh, and I'd like to get TAS as well, but can't seem to find the DVD set in stock anywhere anymore.
I own all of Star Trek, plus Enterprise. ST:TOS - 3 seasons ST:TAS - 1 season ST:TNG - 7 seasons STS9 - 7 seasons ST:Voyager - 7 seasons abomination - 4 seasons movies - 10 released movies, 11th movie pre-ordered.
TOS-R seasons 1 and 2 on Blu-Ray TOS-R season 3 on standard DVD (Blu-Ray's not out yet ) All films, both TOS and TNG, on Blu-Ray (except for ST XI which isn't out yet either) All TV series on standard DVD - TAS, TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise (all seasons of each) If you think it's an abomination, why do you own it?
TOS season two. All TOS and TNG movies except TMP and TFF. TNG seasons five and seven. DS9 season three. VOY seasons one through seven. ENT season two. Borg Fan Collective. Time Travel Fan Collective. I do want to own all season sets for all series, but finances are conspiring against it.
Side note: The Blu-Ray packaging, whether it be for TOS-R or the films, is the only Trek DVD packaging that I kept. All others, I threw out, because it was just too bulky and awkward to use. Those Case Logic sleeves really work wonders.
TNG seasons 2 and 7 DS9 All of it VOY All of it ENT All of it TAS All of it TOS, have it burned, previously had all of it on video. Planning to buy it properly at some point, after getting TNG finished. TNG was my last to acquire because it's my least favorite. All movies on dvd except V which is my last to get. I watch them all the time (just finished DS9 all the way through) and I love having them on dvd.
All of it (not the "fan collective" or other special sets, though), including both original and remastered versions of TOS. I also still have all of TOS (including TAS and movies) on LaserDisc. Why? That's a good question....
I have all of Star Trek on DVD, except for Trek XI, which is not out yet here. This means: All the series (including TAS), all the movies.
All 10 movies - 2 disc special editions (plus the first 9 on VHS!) All seasons of DS9 TAS That's all for now.
ENT Season 1-3 TOS Seasons 1-3 TAS TNG Season 1 DS9 Seasons 1 and 6 And all the movies except XI I should be getting season four of ENT by the end of the month. Hopefully.
I own: Feature Films: Star Trek: The Motion Picture Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan Star Trek III: The Search for Spock Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home Star Trek V: The Final Frontier Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country Star Trek VII: Generations Star Trek VIII: First Contact St Trek IX: Insurrection Star Trek X: Nemesis Star Trek XI (2009) (Pre-Ordered) Television Series: Star Trek: The Next Generation Season One Star Trek: The Next Generation Season Two Star Trek: The Next Generation Season Three Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Season Three Star Trek: The Animated Series (Complete Series) Star Trek Fan Collectives: Star Trek: Alternate Realities Star Trek: Captain's Log Star Trek: Time Travel Star Trek: Best of The Next Generation Star Trek: Best of The Original Series All of the movies are on Blu-Ray. The TV series and collectives are on DVD. On a side note, I own the Animated Series but I'm about to not own it, so I can own it again after Christmas. You see, I found out this evening that my mom bought me the Animated Series for Christmas (a confirmation email from Amazon in my inbox. They sent it to me for some reason instead of her). She doesn't know I own TAS already, so I'm sneaking it into some old books I own and giving it to the Salvation Army thrift store, so that when I open my gift Christmas morning, she will have bought me something I don't own and she'll get to see me smile. J.
TMP: DE TWOK: DE TSFS: CE TVH: CE TUC: CE GEN: CE FC: CE INS NEM TNG seasons 1-7 DS9 seasons 1-7 VOY season 4 I pretty much have everything I want. The only feature film I'm missing is TFF, which I can't say I care to own (especially since Shatner wasn't allowed to go back and re-cut the film to try to make it better). I obviously don't have ST'09 since it isn't available yet, but it's pre-ordered so don't worry. I never became particularly attached to TOS (even though I like the films). I'm not the biggest fan of VOY or ENT, either. I only recently ordered VOY season 4 because I had a $100 gift card for Amazon and there are some decent episodes of the series I'd like to have. I wouldn't mind having some of ENT, either. It's just that there are only a small number of episodes that I really enjoyed and care to own on DVD. If only they'd produced a "Best of..." collection for VOY and ENT.
All the movies (though only the single disk versions of Generations to Insurrection) except 11 - and that's on order. ST TOS (Hard case editions) TNG (Slimline) DS9 (Slimline) Voyager (Slimline) Animated (Hard case) Enterprise (Hard case)
All TOS seasons (remastered) All TNG seasons Movies 1-6, 8-10 - and 11 on order I have most of DS9 and VOY on VHS, so I won't buy them on DVD again...
In order of purchase; All DS9 (lunchbox edition) All TOS (lunchbox) All movies (2 discers) All TNG (slims) TAS (lunchbox) Voyager seasons 1-3 (slims). Also have a couple of fan collectives (Klingons and Captains Log) so sadly my collection isn't Enterprise-free...
I couldn't buy full seasons of any series, they're all just too damn inconsistent. I think the one exception is TNG season 3, which only has maybe like 2 or 3 episodes tops that aren't either very good or great, but I didn't buy that either because it would be weird to have just one season of a show that ran for seven. I have the Time Travel Fan Collective, Q Fan Collective, and the wonderfully stacked Region 2/U.K. version of "The Jean Luc Picard Collection", which I think may be the most consistent Star Trek 'compilation' DVD set. It has such classics as "Darmok", "The Inner Light", and "Lessons" all in one place, plus the real fun 'Die Hard in space' of "Starship Mine" and the even more fun "Captain's Holiday". It's a much stronger set of episodes than the ones on the North American version, and the only stinker is "Bloodlines". The worst thing about these compilations is the repetition of episodes. I don't like having "Encounter at Far Point" on two different sets, but it's pretty cool to have "Yesterday's Enterprise", "Trials and Tribble-ations", and "The City on the Edge of Forever" all in one set, since for me those are probably the most emotionally resonant episodes of their respective series.
I have: All the series season sets including TOS remastered The two disk versions of all 10 movies except XI. A situation that will change one week from Tuesday.
