Charles Cooper who played K'mpec in two episodes of TNG passed away at age 87 on Nov 29, 2013.

His death wasn't reported by any of the Trek related websites and so I just found out.

He also, of course, played Gen Korrd in ST 5

Long career from 1950 to 2007. Great voice.

Thanks for your contribution to Trek and Rest In Peace.

Aw man, I loved him as General Korrd. He was just a really cool actor.
May he rest in piece. :(

    It is not happy news.

But he was 87. So I won't be sad either. Great long life.

    Chapeau!

87 is pretty good. I had no idea his career started back in 1950. He had a rich life and made notable contributions to Trek. RIP.

I remember his role as a henchman in Blind Fury. I smiled when the blind character Rutger Hauer played cut off the henchman's eyebrows. It was cute.

K'mpec was so cool. Sad news about the actor, though.
