News from Comic-Con will go here. While the Doctor Who panel won't be until Sunday, Matt Smith was part of Entertainment Weekly's "Brave New Warriors" panel yesterday. Here are some clips: Why he decided to stop being the Doctor: [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-s4ItNhmVY[/yt] What characteristics he shares with the Doctor: [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWeRp-MEpX8[/yt] He says he'll still keep watching after he leaves the show: [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FlZDp0p2zho[/yt] And here's Steven Moffat during the Sherlock panel, being asked if the the next Doctor could be a woman: [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZWoHMnMByk[/yt]
Awww. I'm going to miss him. He was a pretty good Doctor. *sigh* I wish they wouldn't give episodes out like so many breadcrumbs. I hate waiting so long.
Yeah, it all seems pretty pointless really. The anniversary special is too far away for us to get any meaningful news or info. And Matt's pretty much done at this point isn't he?
The Doctor Who Panel happened today, hosted by Craig Ferguson. Can't find any video yet, but here are some tidbits from Screencrush: “there are certain things we’ve been setting up for a very long time and they will be resolving in the 50th anniversary.” Please let this mean we will finally find out who blew up the TARDIS. :crosses fingers:
I'm hoping we finally hark back to End of Time. There were two disgraced Time Lords, one was the Doctors mother. The other we never found out about.
Matt Smith walks around the Comic-Con floor wearing a Bart Simpson mask, engaging in conversation with DW fans and commenting on DW merchandise. And nobody has a clue! [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mU0aD91nGKU[/yt]
