This Forum Ten Years Ago

I thought maybe you guys would enjoy a look at what we were up to on this very forum in June 2003.

This is the place where I met and befriended some of the best people in the Alpha Quadrant, including bod, Red77, Wind in Her Hair, Admiral Hawthorne, the late, beloved Nibbles, and of course the wee yet magnificent Foxie. Believe me we were up to some serious, Janeway-lovin' no-good. I hope you guys are having as much fun and are making the same level of friendships we were back then.

The VOY forum has the second most posts after TOS in the Series forums! It is clearly a demi-god. 1500 posts more than TNG, hahahaha

 

Heh, for the most part they're similar topics that we have today. Though the "Has Janeway stolen your mojo" thread made me laugh.

 

I was on a break in 2003.

 

In 2003 I was winding up my long career as a mailing list agent provocateur. I had yet to reincarnate onto forums.

 

This was after ENT season 2 right? So this was probably just slightly after I stopped posting. I vaguely remember posting about the Borg ep but I don't think I continued through the summer.

Back then I was a DS9-basher who was trying really hard to like ENT and failing.

 

I wasn't even on the internet 10 years ago. In fact, 2003 is largely a blank to me.

 

What times we had, lemme tell you

 

Some years are largely a blank for me because I was on the internet.

 

Could that in part be down to that VOY is one or the more divisive of the shows. That is to say it is equally loved and hated.

 

No. It is because love is loquacious.

 

Also Voyager was on for the largest percentage of the forum's peak.

 

But those years aren't a part of the post count as I understand it. You can only go back so far.
