Love the picture of Michonne and Daryl on the bike. The actress who plays Michonne has a great smile to her in that picture. In both picture Reedus does the "Blue Steel" look very well.

I don't get why people think Lizzy was the one who killed Karen and David. We know she's got an odd view on the Walkers, but she's treated them more like pets or still "somewhat people" than anything else. It's a huge leap to go from that to savagely killing two innocent people and then burning their bodies. (Or just killing them, if we're to assume Carol is the one that burned them.)

I'm also sort of leaning on Bob being the one who was feeding the Walkers at the fence and did the science experiment Tyrese found at the beginning of this last episode.

But I think all Lizzie is "guilty" of is treating the Walkers like pets, I really doubt she was the one who killed Karen and David it's just a HUGE leap to get there from calling the Walkers by their name.

    I didn't say "I think", I said "might be". There's a difference.

Just saw the repeat...Judith was last seen with the kids...and those kids seemed pretty well armed...now, when they saved Tyrese we didn't see the carrier or Judith...was Tyrese shot?

I imagine after they rescued him they went to get the baby.

Maybe the blood was from a Woodbury 2.0 person who saw the carrier (after it was ditched for being heavy), and bled on it...then ran away when seeing Walkers.

The blood is definitely a red herring-- no pun intended.

And, Holy Toledo, Michonne is adorable when she smiles. :rommie:

^I don't know. Depending on how long the show continues, they're going to loose the baby one way or another and I can't see them killing her on-screen. It may well be a red herring though since this is more or less when the baby died in the comics and they might play with that expectations.

Just saw the thread about Low Winter Sun's cancellation over in TV & Media. Hopefully this gives TWD the opportunity to bring back Morgan!

Yeah, I agree. They're capitalizing on the expectations of the fans who read the comics and thought Judith would die during this confrontation with the Governor.

While I don't think they actually would have shown the baby being shot on the show, I do think if they were going to kill her off it would be in a more significant scene than an off-camera death that is only hinted at with blood. They'd show whoever was holding her (probably Beth) get blown away with the baby in her arms and have Rick and Carl have to process that before being hastily forced to leave due to all the walkers coming in to the prison.

They should have shown Judith in the carrier as a little baby 'walker' (drooler).

I think the brrech in the tank could have stopped the hand grenade--sharper explosive, but less charge. Now if the breech was open, the turret might have been blown off...

It was odd to see how power flowed naturally to the governor--but the comic's had a nice blurb from Michonne about how what she was going to do to him scared her. I wanted to hear that line.

In "self defense/defense of others" in a wartime/battle situation. Still very different than killing two peers while they sleep.

Eh, seems like there's a lot of diversions in the series over what happened in the comics. The series has been mostly using the comics as a general "idea" more than anything else. Characters have been added, characters have been lost sooner than they were in the comic (Dale, Andrea, Lori) certain plot threads have been different.

For example, IIRC in the comic they were at the camp outside Atlanta for several months before deciding to leave which is when Rick killed Shane, the group found their way to a farm, got kicked off the farm by Hershel and then found their way to a gated neighborhood and eventually the prison.

Lori in the comic survives until the fall of the prison and, I believe, Woodbury never fell until the end of the prison arc. So there's numerous differences. I don't think the comics can be too much of a tried and true guide for what's going to happen other than a very rough outline.

On Judith's age. Keep in mind the show has been on for 3 and half seasons now and only about a year and half has passed since Rick woke-up from the coma. (Using Lori's pregnancy and Judith's apparent age as a guide.) So it's possible the rest of the series could still take place while using infant and toddler actors for Judith. Although some explaining will have to be done on why Carl is suffering from a hyper-aging disease. ;)

Though story-tellingwise the baby is a "liability" as you'll always need to have "something" happen/shown to remind the audience she is there. It was easy when things were held in the prison when we could assume someone was watching her or that she was relatively safe. But back out in the wild? She's a story-telling liability as you can't just have her not-on-screen without explaining who has her and why she's safe (or not safe.)

I suspect sooner or later the comic's story will catch up to Judith and she'll be offed, right now I suspect she's alive and safe. With who? I'm not sure. I'm almost inclined to go with Michonne given the "connection" she and Judith had earlier this season with Michonne obviously suffering from Lost-Baby Syndrome.

When they started promoting the season they did say they were going to be sticking a little closer to the comics this season.
Going by the wikipedia article, we are catching up on the point where he joined the group in the comics. So if they do bring him into the group, there's a chance it could happen fairly soon.

I haven't read the comics, but have seen bits and pieces and read sub-summaries of different parts. I prefer the tv show. I know it's not as dark; I prefer it this way.

Sometimes stories have to be adapted for a different media.

I also like the character of the Governor better in the TV show then the comic. I know its a combination of the writing and the nuanced performance by David Morrissey.

Nah, TV Governor may be a more realistic character, but comics Governor is so over the top twisted and evil that he's way more entertaining. Hell, the guy rips out his zombie daughter's teeth with pliers just so he can kiss her on the mouth. :ack:

The comics sound more like torture porn than entertainment. :rommie:

I didn't realize that the baby died in the comics. But I still think it's a red herring. Like Locutus said, they would have played it differently. What may happen is that Rick will hear about her being found and saved by another group, and the story will become about him trying to find her. Or, twenty years from now, somebody will do Walking Dead: The Legend Continues and she'll be the main character. :rommie:

I don't think Carol is covering for Lizzy, but that would be neat if she met up with Tyreese and they formed a relationship before Tyreese found out she killed Karen.

It's not like the group would have exiled Lizzy. Carol had no reason to cover for Lizzy, nor would covering for Lizzy stop her from killing the next sick person.

If this plays out like it did in the comics then the group will have a situation on their hands, how do you exile a little kid? Can they kill a little kid?

What's with the vivisected rat or frog that they found? What's all that about?

This is purely speculation. Carol didn't kill those two people, Lizzie did and Carol helped to cover it up. Lizzie has been feeding the walkers on the fence, she's the one giving them names and treating them like pets, she's the one who dissected that rat and now she's a great head shot with a pistol too. They already gave her that odd moment where she played with Glenn's pool of blood.
