I took a walk after the first half of SDS and FGC. Missed a big upset. I am back home in time to see the end of LaSalle and Ole' Miss though. Forget the brackets, I am enjoying the upsets.
I think it it pretty clear that the Selection Committee did a poor job of seeding teams this year. It has made for a fun tournament, though.
A #9 seed, a #12 seed, a #13 seed and a #15 seed all in the Sweet Sixteen? Yep, that shows a lot of underestimation going on. Even though it plays havoc on my bracket, I'm loving it! And...I can sort of relax now. I can only hope that the scare Miami got from Illinois tonight will be character building.
Well, I'm jumping on the FGC bandwagon. First 15 seed to get into the sweet 16. I hope this run continues. This is why I enjoy the Tournament, even though admittedly I haven't watched it as closely this year as others. This is a great story though.
The brackets are a total mess, and the standings confirm it. There can be a lot of movement still, and there are a lot of different picks for the National Champion. So it's pretty much wide open....except for you Gonzaga guys... Best of luck in the next rounds!
Buckeyes do it again.. only this time it wasn't Craft taking the shot but "Q" with the "cold-blooded three"... after a dish from Craft. [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=5pBzFWRw6po[/yt]
That was a pathetic showing last night. Sixteen points in the first half? Come on! My bracket is dead, may it rest in peace.
On the plus side, everyone's bracket is destroyed now. It is just a matter of being the least worst when it comes to winning our contest.
Go Florida Gulf Coast. I never had a bracket this year, so it doesn't matter to me, but I just want to see this team go further.
It won't be me. Duke is all I have left, now. How in the hell did Kansas lose? There was no reason to make that pass when you're practically underneath the basket!!!
