I'm about eighty pages in and enjoying it for the most part. But it feels like "old folks week" aboard the Challenger and that can be both good and bad. Guess I'll just have to see where it goes...

B&N called today and I picked it up. About six chapters in, and quite enjoying it.

I'm up to page 112 and I have a question. I may have simply missed it or it may be addressed later on...

Wouldn't the Intrepid blow up once anti-matter containment was gone? I haven't even seen anti-matter addressed yet...

Finished it today. Good book. A few nods to DTI in there. Lonemagpie, are you in cahoots with Chris Bennett or what? ;)

Because of the conceptual overlap in our consecutive books, David and I did correspond in order to keep consistent with each other.

I have just one question for those of you who have read it. Is the familiar female Dr. referred to on the page Lonemagpie posted in the other thread Pulaski or someone else?

Actually, you got me on that one... though it is kind of lampshaded (as they call it on tvtropes) later.

I did get in touch with both Dayton (who's book was before mine) and Christopher, to help things flow between the books.

How many times has she appeared in the books since she left the Enterprise? I know she was the DS9 based Double Helix book, but have there been any others?

She has a cameo in Vendetta and another in A Time for War a Time for Peace...and maybe in Sky's The Limit?

Read more carefully. He's not confirming that it's Pulaski, he's confirming that it's either Pulaski or someone else. ;)

And even edited the quote to make that more obvious.

Maybe I should have put on a Kosh costume...
