...Although to get the full-res pics, you still need to pay Mike and Alex. There's some cool detail there, such as the use of workbee cabins as... Won't spoil it. However, the U-shaped bay there gets my full blessings, sprinklings of holy water (you know, the sort where many irreplaceable people pressed their thumbs in) and general nods of approval. Yep, I even stole - er - was inspired by it, and expanded on it some, for my Coeur de Lion: http://www.inpayne.com/temp/coeur_de_lion_cutaway_head.jpg
Glad to see appreciation for one of our most popular items!! Mike and Alex certainly did put a lot of time and thought into those plans. Thanks! Mark
You're welcome, Mark. The effort definitely shows in the finished product! BTW, will we ever see anymore from Fed Frontiers? I recall you folks were talking about a set of Enterprise plans and a Defiant spin-off of some sort. Oh, and the one I was most waiting for: the Avenger Class manual.
Mike and Alex's Miranda/Avenger blueprints are in my top three list of favorite Trek starship blueprints -- the other two slots being filled by Franz Joseph's Constitution plans and Ed Whitefire's 1701-D blueprints.
I love the design Forbin. It's like a grown-up adult Miranda. Mind if I nick the idea/concept for RPG use provided I mention your name vigorously?
Sure. I'm pretty sure some else has already modeled it for a compuer game too. Here's the whole thing: http://www.inpayne.com/models/kitbash/trekpage_lion.html
