Whenever someone catches me quoting movie lines or even Trek episode stuff and they don't me well I've gotten "kinda odd to know that, isn't it?"

I say, "What its not odd to know who the 3rd baseman of the Dodgers was and all his stats from '92 but citing movie lines is odd?" It throws the perspective issue back on them and shuts them up.
