Today the world lost a Star Trek fan filmmaker known as RoTV, Roland Doiron of Maine. RoTV died after a struggle with cancer. He created a number of animated Star Trek Fan Films. He took some simple tools provided by Go!Animate and made films worth watching. You can link to them here: http://startrekreviewed-goanimate.blogspot.com/2011/10/rotv.html (corrected link)

Thank you, I believe it is now corrected, both above and here: http://startrekreviewed-goanimate.blogspot.com/2011/10/rotv.html

Sorry to hear that. I was familiar with his work and was aware of his illness. Sad news indeed.

He was a good friend of mine. I got to see some of the stuff and the script he created for Star Trek: Perseus. It's a shame he never got to complete any of it. It looked really well done. R.I.P. Ro xxx
