My vote: Is it even worth feeling bothered about considering how much the show sucked?

It's like asking, "Who's your favorite former member of the Bush administration?"

I will not own season seven because of the sexual relations with that man, Mr. Chakotay.

So, going back to the original topic... I'm on disk 4 of 7 of S7 and they are finally showing even remote possibilities of Seven and Chakotay. I can't figure out why it took to long to match her up or if they just crammed it in the end so she'd have somewhere to go when she got back to earth.

No. That's all just a coincidence. No one knew. There was no plan.

I would just like to remind you all not to feed the trolls. SharkD, if you troll here again you'll get a warning. If you have any questions on the rules go read them or pm me.

You're right here. I don't think there were a plan to pair those two off. If it had been, there would have been some hints for it during the series.

I guess they just came up with that for the last episode. But I don't know if it was done because of someones suggestion, as a move to do something unexpected or to simply show the finger to a large group of fans.

Voyager seem to have been the kind of show where there were no longtime plans. Certain events just did seem to happen because of some producers whims.

    It was Beltran's.
I think it's also in a interview on the DVD's or something.

Anywhoo, he made the suggestion way back during 5th season.
Slow are the wheels of progress in the house of Voyager.

We mock what became of Voyager by sarcastically it "the Seven of Nine show", and this series was so lacking in emotional diversity that it did have to end with a a "happily ever after" once they reached their logically forecasted conclusion which the dumbest bastard could have predicted 7 years earlier that "they get home in the last episode" ...Furthermore the entrenched 1950s ideals of good and evil raging through the show demanded that a woman to live happily ever after had to be paired up with some bloke to be complete. Archaic and barbarian, no?

    The Choices were bloody limited.

    Chakotay? Big shoulders. Practically Inoffensive.
    Tuvok? Married.
    Tom? Married.
Neelix? Legged it and engaged or married by that point.
Kim? A child who doesn't even know how to please himself god forbid someone else. And look at the numbers. He's a slut. Chakotay might be weighed down by a similar number of dalliances, but his slut coefficient is 1/2 that of Kim since he's twice the babies age.
Icheb? Only Physically younger than Kim. Sure he had bigger balls too, but no fluff on them.
Cremman X? Someone we haven't seen in ten years or have never seen and in either case have absolutely no emotional investment in? That's cheating.

So Robotgirl was either robbing the cradle or being the baby being robbed from some cradle?

But still it was 50/50 that she had to be left barefoot and pregnant by either the goofy kid or the wise old man, or young boys would never learn how to treat women exactly how deserve to be treated in the 1950s because of societal pressures to be decent.

WOW! Bob can see the future!

    Which Kennedy was Marilyn boffing?

You've made your point a couple or three times, and I explained that my reality and truth are my own.

    Let's move on, 'kay? :techman:

That was my final comment on the matter. :)

I think you'll be less likely to proclaim "your truth" as THE truth in the future. :)

I used to cut truth with baby powder and snort it with used MacDonalds bendy straws.

Doesn't Chakotay just want to be a left alone dirt farmer?

What sort of life is it as farmhand for a Glamourous Technocrat?

I don't know what sort of pants magic uncle Owen had to keep a hot minx like Beru under toe, but really wouldn't we rather have seen Green Acres TNNN-N-NNG, rather than Enterprise?

Luke may have called him Old Ben, but odds are Beru probably called him Gentle Ben.

I doubt that I've learned my lesson. The title of the thread is "Opinions on Chakotay & Seven," and that is what I posted. When I post THE truth, I'll be sure to let you know by cutting it with baby powder and handing out McDonald's bendy straws. ;)
