^ That'd be kind of awesome. Just with regards again to the leadership debate (i guess we're having our own in here ;) ) Justice League Dark seems to have hinted a little bit about this in the first issue with Superman, Wonder Woman, and Cyborg appearing. I think there was someone else (I know Bruce was dealing with Zee) maybe it was Hal.

The guy who keeps to the shadows and uses fear to advantage and the fearless guy who wields light as the most powerful weapon in the Universe?

eHarmony ain't putting these two together.

To quote Green Arrow "You're mysterious, but its a loud type of mysterious".

Batman likes honest cops. Hal seems to be an honest cop.

[python]Batman: My chief weapon is surprise...surprise and fear...fear and surprise.... two weapons are fear and surprise...and ruthless efficiency.... My *three* weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency...and an almost fanatical devotion to Justice.... My *four*...no... *Amongst* my weapons.... Amongst my weaponry...are such elements as fear, surprise.... I'll come in again.[/python]

Thats pretty much how Geoff Johns framed the dichatomy between Bruce and Hal in Rebirth and in Blackest Night. He made fun of the last bit between light and dark in Blackest Night 0.

Liking "honest cops" is not the point. How does Bruce like being a defenseless third world country sharing the planet with a huge nation convinced of its own benevolence but known to drop the Bomb?

You gotta figure that even if Bruce didn't see Parallax coming the whole idea that the Corps exists would creep him out.

One does have to wonder who gave the Guardians the right to police the universe. Its not like they were appointed by anyone other than themselves. I can see that keeping Bruce awake... er in the day?

I don't think Bruce worries about what goes on in space frankly. He's busy enough as it is on Earth.

Sadly for Bruce's peace of mind, the mailing address of the GL for 2814 is Earth.

Oh, wait, not these days. Sinestro is the new cop on the beat.

Whew, that was close! Nothing to worry about.

The only reason Bruce would concern himself with Corps affairs is if they interfered or intervened in Gotham. Other than that he would not bother with them, except maybe on a Justice League mission. Maybe. He has already weilded a Green Lantern and a Sinestro Corps ring before only to reject them both.

Although Batman never seemed to have much problem with Kyle or John (Guy is his own special case). Bruce has a problem with people who don't blink when he stares them down.

    Careful son.

    ;)

In Superman vs. Batman vs Predator a few years back, the Preadators had been living in a naturally contrived biodome (underground city, lots of caves, no way out and they didn't know about mans world above.) and it turned out that not all that Predators were assholes. there was a civilian population of Predators that needed saving from something, hell it might have even been Xenomorphs they were afraid of.

But Superman gives his big hero speech to these potential refugees "Don't worry, we'll save you, we've taken a oath to save all life."

To which Batman clears his throat and corrects the man of steel "All Human life" as if to say that he's considering nuking the colony if they try to interfer with humanity above ground isnce he knows what it's like to be hunted by these buggers.

Why should we wait for an issue two months from now to prove your point when we have bucket loads of comics already stating your case?

Anyway, I like Aquaman just fine, but I still like giving the character a hard time. Also, he gives great advice! :techman:

Except that Superman didn't know about Jason until the end of the film. But, if that qualifies as abandoning a kid, then Batman did it too since he knocked up Talia and didn't interact with his kid until the kid sought him out a decade later.

I remains still bit confused of why some people are annoyed about some of the more sexier stuff in Catwoman.
Reading some of the comments from the net makes it look like some sort of porn..that is really not true.
So we see her making out with Batman and wearing a bra(shocking, huh?).
I am honestly thinking that has something to do of the attitude of "violence is OK, sex is bad" in at least some parts of US media culture.
And since the comic is rated Teen+, so I doubt its even meant to be read by small children, right?
I personally like that Catwoman is sexy and sassy. They have made her seem strong and smart also..so I do not have any complains.

One more thing..I think Wonder Woman should lead the Justice League:cool:. It would be interesting to see her being to boss..at least for a while.

Catwoman #2 is the very first time where I can see Bruce Wayne acts like the super-playboy that he's supposed to be :)

Catwoman (after Bruce's avance): "Wow. That is some look. I swear to god, it's loke musk. A hundred thoughts run through me and various parts of my anatomy."

In the past, it seemed that the only reason of fame of Bruce as playboy is the fact that he's the richest bachelor in Gotham...
