I just finished up a rewatch of the end of the Xindi arc. Gonna skip Storm Front and keep going with Home.
That's what I tend to do. I just find Storm Front...a diversion. Think I'll wait a while before another ENT rewatch though.
Man I remember when Enterprise first premiered. You had what ended up being a one hit wonder of a band doing the ad music (Did Enterprise make The Calling's song a hit? That's one thing to be glad at), and it was around the same time 24 was going to premiere. I also remember one of the first ads doing the "Before Kirk, Before Picard", and they forgot Sisko. Can't believe it's been 12 years.
Happy anniversary Enterprise .It's hard to believe 12 years have passed since Broken Bow first aired in 2001.
Belated but best wishes for 12th. Time keeps marching on. I always enjoy "Broken Bow", and get a kick out of how well it still holds up.
Except that narrator says "dreamed of traveling beyond our galaxy" .... did he mean "solar system" ???
I still think that song would have been great for the opening credits like they had planned (as discussed in another thread) ...stinking WB and Smallville beat them to the rights though...
I'm not ashamed to say I was one of those who didn't find ENT very 'Trek'. Those boilersuits? Ugh. How wrong I was
I get a little teary watching that. Great bit of song there. I'd never seen it before. The only ENT ad I'd seen is this classic: [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0V_8AbEHYA[/yt]
I dawned on me the other day after seeing this thread that I joined this BBS shortly after Enterprise's second season because I was completely fed upwith the trolls over at Trek's offical BBS. Dorian Thompson recommed this site highly and I really enjoyed this form while the show was on. Great discussion, the shipper battles and the behind the scenes spoilers from Morphious and Mike Sussman. Can't believe I've been visiting this site for a little over 10 years now. Wow! Q2UnME
