This could be a blessing in disguise if it means that NBC ultimately puts the show someplace other than a Friday night death slot.

I'm trying to hope for that too, but the other side of it is that if the show is delayed more than a month, it pretty much kills any chance of it getting more than 13 episodes.

On the other hand, if we're really lucky, perhaps they'll "pull a Chuck" -- move a 13-episode Season Four to midseason, and then find that it's successful enough to be worth ordering a fifth season, same as what happened with Chuck Seasons Three and Four.

It was never getting more than 13 episodes.

No one will watch it on a Wednesday night either, or where ever they might move it. It's a cult show.

It doesn't have Chevy Chase in it anymore, ergo it is doomed to failure. I mean, he was the only reason people tuned in to watch it right? A show can't possibly be popular unless it has some rancid old so-called star in it. Come on now. Think like an executive, people.

Chevy Chase is still on the show.

Chevy is NOT the crux of the show. If he were there or not, the show would be practically the same. He'd be easily replaceable, maybe by ah...I don't know, maybe Bill Murray :)

Ah, yes. Bill Murray, the guy who carefully chooses his projects and would never join a sinking ship.

Naw, Bill Murray who replaced Chevy Chase on SNL and SNL continued on (for better or worse).
