This actually makes me think they're in it.

Is this for real or are they lookalikes?

I like that Donna seems to be offering moral support...

There is an air of 'doth protest too much' about it, and frankly there's little point campaigning for a role after the thing's finished filming, but that might just be wishful thinking.

I'm sure I read a while back about Peter Davison making his own little film featuring the classic Doctors and if this is part of that, it makes sense [dramatically] for their 'protests' to pay off and end up with a part in the 50th (which if they are in it would have been filmed ages ago).

I was just about to post about that since I realised people might not know what it was actually for. There were actually two semi-hidden cameras recording the "protest".

Actually, right now is the point when it wouldn't be "wishful thinking." The Christmas special began filming yesterday, and we know that Moffat has filmed things way out of order in the past. (The final scene of "The Name of the Doctor," for instance, was filmed months after the episode during the filming for the Anniversary Special. Clara's TARDIS scenes were filmed much later once the set was finished.) If the classic Doctors weren't in the Anniversary Special originally, Moffat could shoot scenes of them now during the Christmas block. Might muddle the budget situation a bit, though, because he'd be spending Christmas time and money on the Anniversary special.

Sorry, but my gut is telling me none of the classic Doctors are in it, sadly. :(

Glad they're showing their displeasure at being snubbed though. :)

I was at the recent Motormouth 2 convention and Peter Davison was doing a lot of filming there presumably for the same thing.

Where's the photo from? What source is saying Colin Baker was there, too?

Surely the placards are a photoshop add-on? Don't tell me Peter and Colin were really outside the BBC protesting like Fathers Ted and Dougal outside that cinema? 'Careful now!' 'Down with this sort of thing!'

Jesus wept - does anyone actually think they were protesting? Outside a building that closed over six months ago?

It will be a tongue-in-cheek thing that is being recorded for the 50th celebrations.

Good on them. Would a cameo or two really hurt? It would keep the fans happy and the BBC (near enough). Besides, the BBC are wankers. At least Paul McGann at the very minimum. Sylvester would still do it. I think Colin unfortunately is too far gone to return without them using the same excuse in time crash. Would be funny to hear some of the doctors "bully" him though. :p

Really, McGann as the Eighth is STILL feasible. But obviously the BBC didn't want attention drawn to the TV Movie, for whatever reason.

Why don't they have "the Doctor" bump into all of 8's companions from all the other media in one of the new TV episodes/specials?

Exactly my thought. Though I would have put them in costume for the extra amusement factor.
