The disc special features though pale in comparison to the limited edition UK blu-ray version (which I'm getting for Christmas). Kind of disappointing actually. Just four featuettes It also seems rather expensive for just a single disc release. Not sure what Warner Bros is thinking about other than being greedy around Christmas time.

Well, I'll be thirty bucks poorer on December 7th. Though I will be one Inception Blu-ray richer. Seems like more than a fair trade to me.

I want the version that comes with an attached Post-It on which Michael Caine has scrawled "The ending is in reality, dammit!"

I better hope that the normal UK DVD is able to run on my DVD player. I'm not sure if Blu Ray's have that regional thingy problem.

Do you have a Region A player or Region B?
Your location does not give us any indication of where you are.

    Re: Region Coding on Blu-ray

I don't have a blu ray player, I'm talking about the normal DVD version that comes with the limited edition box set along with the blu-ray. I'm in Vancouver.

If your DVD player wasn't marked as "multi-region" or "region-free," then you have a Region 1 player that won't be able to play the UK DVD release.

For the Blu-ray version, you open up a movie case that opens up another movie case that opens up another movie case that has the Blu-ray disc in it.

Also, the limited edition UK version:

Yeah Jackson posted a thread on this about a month or so I believe. I'm getting this anyway just because it has the PASIV device technical manual. As soon as Jackson pointed that out to me I got all giddy and asked my mom for it for Christmas lol.

I wonder if that's the same manual included in The Shooting Script.

As excited as I am about purchasing this film, I'm pretty damn annoyed about the exclusion of special features on the DVD in comparison to the Blu-Ray editions. Fuck this whole DVD vs. Blu-Ray shit (and all of the Region bullshit).

This is actually one of the short list of 3 2010 movies I've seen that I'm buying so I'm looking forward to it.

Psycho Pare...it seems like it could very well be the same manual included in the shooting script. I had no idea that the shooting script had a PASIV device manual included in it, now I'm going to have to order it as well.
