I'll never warm up to the Akiraprise BOPs, but the team's hard work will pay off nonetheless.

I couldn't help but think that maybe there were a few TOO many Klingon ships. Connies are tough, but not THAT tough.

That said, yes, the trailer DID look good. So did the other new one that is out.

Bah, it's the Enterprise and Kirk is in command. Of course it can take them.

Which is exactly why the Enterprise is in for an upgrade in a couple of episodes, followed by "Extreme Makeover: Starfleet Edition" in a few years time... :vulcan:

Definitely fascinating! I'm holding back from reading the summary in the "Phase II' softcover so I don't bring any presuppositions to watching the film.

Kitumba is awesome. I can't wait, even though I have seen it a few times. ;-) I haven't seen the final cut which I expect to be much better.

Well, you have to realize this is practically the entire Klingon fleet in one of the shots...and it takes more than Kirk to get past them!

Have I mentioned that the Klingon Battle Cruiser is my second favorite Trek starship? The Defiant is number 3, but the all-time top of the list has to be the movie Enterprise. Love those streamlined nacelles!

Meh, Kirk's taken on all powerful alien being and survived, the Klingons and their dinky ships aren't going to do any better. I mean they do tend to explode after one or two hits from Starfleet weapons except in movies (well except for Trek XI ;)) and this isn't a movie.
