I suspect that's because of music rights, as so many delayed releases are. :( I loved that show - interesting presentation, loved the actors & the characters they portrayed, and wished like crazy it had gotten some sort of resolution.

Another vote for Now & Again
Simply the most charming show ever. Lasted one series, 22 episodes.
I have about half of the series on video I taped a while back, ands have since transferred them to DVD, brilliant, brilliant show

Makes me kind of glad that these days the producers of shows that are "on the bubble" for cancellation know it enough in advance to plan some form of resolution should the unthinkable happen. Both Earth 2 and Now and Again left the audience hanging in awful ways.

I tried watching the premiere episode but wow, the writing, acting, SFX or something was just so off, I couldn't get into it. Interesting premise, tho. Someone should give it another shot, and bring back Clancy Brown.

Nope - Jake 2.0 was a UPN show, not a FOX show.

Awww, man! Thanks for posting that Plymouth link! I was working the mail room at Columbia Studios when this aired, and the office of Lee David Zlotoff (creator of this and MacGyver) was on my route.
The day after Plymouth aired, he was actually in his office, so I told him how impressed I was by it (and MacGyver).
He seemed surprised that I knew who he was.

Thought everybody had forgotten about this one.
Yancy Butler's best (and first) work.

You can watch the episodes on YouTube, but this is my favorite scene from the Pilot.
(Dig the nod to Blade Runner, as Samantha Eggar introduces the rest of the AI team: "Doctors Scott, Deckard, Ford and Hauer...")

I remember watching that show and thinking "a female Data," and I wonder if she cribbed a little from Spiner's performance. Then I finished The Caves of Steel and thought a female R. Daneel Olivaw. Nevertheless, I liked the show.

I came in to mention this one - I really enjoyed this show, and it had a great premise. Got a bit cheesy later on though.

My fav lost gem is/was VR 5, Lori Singer, Michael Easton and new thingies called computers!

A thread a few weeks back about bit torrent downloading of shows unavailable on DVD mentioned an eBay type site that had offerings of taped TV shows not commercially available. I checked it out, and found VR 5, and a couple of other obscure items as well! I'm watching VR 5 right now! :techman:

A quick search turned up several of the titles mentioned on this thread.
Stop having fond memories and do something about it!

You know, regarding Earth 2, Deborah Farentino (Eureka) was hot. She was the Lena Headey of the 90s. :)

    Anyone remember UNSUB? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096720/
It was made post "Manhunter" and featured David Soul, M Emmet Walsh and Kent McCord as FBI profilers. I keep hoping someone will release this on DVD to cash in on the popularity of CSI and Criminal Minds.

I probably would if Hulu had more than 5 episodes from Season 2. Maybe one of these days I'll run across it. :)

I saw it when sci-fi reran the handful of episodes -- but I missed the last 5-10 minutes and never have seen it since. I've looked everywhere and I can't find it. It's one of the few things that really irks me.
