It has been reported that Agents of Shield has been acquired by Channel 4, so I thought it was time to start a running count of the new shows that have been acquired by UK networks and where they're going. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D - Channel 4 The 100 - E4 The Tomorrow People - E4 The Blacklist - Sky Living Hello Ladies - Sky Atlantic Hostages - Channel 5 King & Maxwell - Alibi Masters of Sex - Channel 4 I'm not aware of any others so far, but I guess people could update this with airdates and more shows as they appear.
BBC Three has Orphan Black. Seeing C4 get Agents of Shield is extremely disheartening - no doubt it'll be dumped in the kids' programming
Suppose I should add Channel 5 has Under The Dome, which started the other night. I doubt Channel 4 will dump it with the teen stuff, for one they are or have dropped T4 and they've had a bidding war with Sky over it so it won't have come cheap and therefore dumping it would be a very poor decision.
Unless C4 air SHIELD the very next day, like how Sky did with Game of Thrones, then I don't see the point. I'll just watch it online, like I imagine most people will. Some UK channels are a joke. The whole of True Blood season 6 has been and gone now in the US but its not even gonna start to air on FX here till September 30th. I've already seen it all of course, why should I have waited that long? It's not the 90s anymore when people didn't have a choice. Same for how long it takes Sky to show Supernatural seasons too

Soooo different. I eventually quite like badaults, a modern day attempt at Young Ones Surrealism. Bad Bad World isn't awful. Chickens where the rest of the inbetweeners wound up is quite a hoot, and season two of Bad Education started last week which is lite, but still enjoyable. Odd how they seem to be obsessed with the word "bad"?
bate and fricking switch! I did read the other thread a couple days ago, and didn't feel like posting in it until now. This is like falling for the wrong twin.
Hmm, then prepare for it to be moved, after about 5 episodes to either 6pm E4 cut to hell or stuck after midnight on some channel.
Channel 4 treated Lost, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty and Glee well enough. It's been a long time since SG1 and Angel, no reason to expect they'd be the same. Besides I don't think they'd go in to a bidding war with Sky and win only to treat the show badly.
Conveniently, Agents Of SHIELD will air on Fridays at 8PM starting on the 27th. This has possibilities.
