I'm surprised Ferengi or Romulan didn't make the list as opposed to some of the lesser known aliens of the week.
oh, thank for remind me about 2 species ooops well you have type on the comment if you like and apologise, Zombie redshirt.
I'll take the Ferengi. Though I've grown more fond of Bajorans with rewatches. Ensign Ro was once my favorite character (this is pre VOY and DS9 era) but then we got Kira's paramours and they put me off the race big time
That's arguable, IMHO, given that Trek humans show markedly different social characteristics from those in modern day. I find Trek's aliens more relatable than most of its humans. As far as my favorite Trek species, that would of course be the Cardassians.
The Cardassians were actually fleshed out as to why and how they became "the bad guys" and had more depth to them than just randomly attack, conquer and kill. Far better than the typical disgruntled alien attackers of the week.
Love the Cardassians. Always been my favourite, but over the last few years, loving Klingon and Vulcan also. Have a soft spot for the Bolians and Trills.
Vulcans are my favourite; Andorians and Romulans are interesting enough. Gorns get a huzzah for being the lizard homeboys.
Gorns seem to get a lot of attention for doing nothing. Especially as there are plenty of other lizard type species in Trek.
Out of those listed, Klingon is probably my selection. 'Human' shouldn't be on the list, since only humans are answering the poll. I think Q would certainly be ahead of Klingons for me, though.
