for the record, I was only referring to his crack use. er... Explaining the joke makes me sound like an awful person. Another failed attempt at humor... I really do adore all of you, I promise.
...so anyway, I enjoyed the episode. I loved how Tom was drawn to Belanna and wanted to protect her and the child even though he had no idea who they really were. I really liked all of the drama leading up to part II. I'm just disappointed we didn't get to see that mad doctor getting some kind of punishment (either officially or by the hand of a former "patient").
That SG1 episode is the main reason, i did not enjoy "Workforce". Here in germany they aired only two month apart, so my first reaction was: "Didn't Stargate just do the same story?" [edit to add:] When rewatching Voyager recently, i found it OK. Apparently temporal distance to the SG1 episode does wonders for this.
