It's actually a better story with the vuvuzela sound turned on on youtube! Any other stories that you guys think would be better with the vuvuzela sound? I nominate Ghost Light on the first few viewings until you figure out what the story is about.
If you guys don't know what a "vuvuzela" is by now, I can only assume that you've been in a dark cave with no electricity for the last three weeks or so. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/vuvuzela
there is an option to have the Vuvuzela sound on top of the YouTube video you are watching, its football icon. not sure why such an option exisits, but it does.
Exactly! Sorry I wasn't as clear in the original post. You can click a button and the vuvuzela sound is played on top of whatever you happen to be watching on youtube.
Yes I saw that, but as you said "you guys" you were addressing the both of us. Now I can't speak for The, I can for myself though and I know full well what a vuvuzela is.
Because it's awesome, that's why! It's remarkably fitting with the "Guile's Theme Goes With Everything" videos.
You have to sign in under your own account for the button to appear. But now I'm trying to think of all the episodes where vuvuzelas would be either highly appropriate or highly INappropriate for Doctor Who.
I think the vuvuzela deserves an episode all of its own, companion finds one in the TARDIS, they then travel back to South Africa of the past, and its gets left there.
Vuvuzelas are wrong, evil and inappropriate - even at weird, sexual-horror parties. And how dare anyone sound one at any point during The Happiness Patrol - I'm shocked, shocked I tell you...
"The guy"? What, have we never met? As for the Vuvuzela, let me say three things: 1) I'm American, and don't care about Soccer/Football. So, it should be no great surprise I didn't know what it was. 2) The kazoo-like noise that plays when you hit the button just sounded like blaring interference to me. So, I just assumed it was something that wasn't working. 3) I like pie.
