Wow, this was weirdly prophetic. The salad was some delicious concoction with caesar dressing and some pesto in it. The wine was wonderful too. Definitely want to go back!

Leftovers last night. But tonight is a good old-fashioned Sunday chicken dinner.

I drove an hour into Philadelphia in order to get a Pat's cheese-steak. Not only do they not ram their retrograde politics down their customer's throats like their gaudier competitor across the street, they also have these great dry roasted chili peppers that defy description.

Did a bit better today. Some grilled chicken breast and salad. I really paid the price for those pancakes; my blood sugar spiked to 287. :(

It got late in a hurry on us last night. We just had some pasta and a jar of sauce with frozen peas on the side. Real 4 star stuff.

We took my daughter out last night for a birthday dinner at Chili's - I had the four mini cheeseburgers (took two home for dinner tonight  )

we had a very busy day yesterday ... watching football and drinking beer. ;) By the time we got hungry for dinner ... neither of us felt like making it ... so we ordered Chinese deliver. :shifty: :alienblush:

I made up for it tonight (sort of); made home made grilled chicken caesars. The Hubby loves my caesar dressing. :alienblush:

Eh, it's been much worse. Type 1 diabetics tend to have higher highs and lower lows than type two. I used to have perfect control, but lately not so much. I'm trying, though!

Leftover chicken and salad from yesterday wrapped in a tortilla. I only did so-so today -- my blood sugars stayed under control but I had some carbs (namely a bowl of popcorn) that I oughtn't have. I used to be so good at this!

Pork fried rice. We added in what was left of the pork roast from the other night so it was a bit more "porkier" than usual.
