iPhones are a hell of a lot better at picture-taking than they used to be. I can't look at that picture without going "SPLASHY SPLASHY SPLASHY!!!" in my head.
You're right of course. I guess I've just become a bit spoiled. The truth is that all the pictures taken of my daughter with an iPhone will probably look better than my own childhood photos taken with an actual camera!
Well, let's not get crazy. But still, iPhone cameras can do a lot of what your basic, run of the mill camera can do. They're just no replacement for a real, honest-to-goodness professional DSLR.
I'm still taking pictures with a Droid and a regular, store-bought digital camera so I have yet to personally experience any advantages of taking photos with an iPhone or iPad. I'm generally satisfied with the quality of my images that I take on my camera and my phone and have had no real desire to switch over, but yeah, that iPhone image of his daughter had stunning quality.
I have an iPhone 4S and it can take some amazing photos, over 3000+ and counting, gave my old digital camera to my parents. I will start posting some of them here eventually, I just keep forgetting at the moment.
my first harvest, 21 sweet, hot habaneros clocking in at around 400,000 Scoville units each. Who wants to be the first to try my new hot sauce?
