You know I just thought about it and I can see one character they could kill off that could generate this big fan hate mail thing Slott is expecting and not just because of the character's death, but because of how it affects a certain recent infamous storyline in hindsight.

And to be honest if it happens I'm going to be laughing my ass off.

I'm guessing you would be referring to MJ. It would infuriate the fan base indeed. I know I'd be pissed off LOL ...especially since there has been speculation since Spider-Island that Slott has been slowly undoing One More Day. We'll have to wait until for December to find out what happens, next month for the Superior announcement.

Actually I was thinking May Parker because it would mean that the marriage was erased for nothing.

Ah okay. My mistake. My thought that MJ's death would be more impactful in that regard since she's actually the one who made the deal with Mephisto, as revealed in One Moment in Time. I see your point though regarding Aunt May. I actually thought at one time that Jay Jameson might be a disguise for Mephisto...I believe that we'll see Mephisto in the issue as well.

I have always wanted those two to end up together.

    Young Elizabeth Banks too.

Before long the line between good guy, bad guy and anti-hero won't even be blurry. Everyone will just be the latter.

Pucks origin... He went tomb raiding somewhere haunted he shouldn't have where a demon who had a magical sword that cuts height just starts hacking at him. He lost almost five feet in stature before winning that fight.

Did he ever get a roll in the hay with Heather?

Marvel could learn a thing or two.

Of course they've done their fair share of wiping, too. **cough**One More Day**cough** **cough**Winter Soldier**cough**

I wasn't expecting that title. I'm still sour over the demise of X-Force Vol. 3. That was my favorite X title at the time.

Oh, I know. I was more or less having continual fun with the Drake/Robin bitching we've been doing.

OMD was horrid, out right horrid. With all the overorders for variant covers I got nearly the whole first year+ out of dealers $1 boxes at shows. I still overpaid.

I'm of the opinion that most creative properties need a good barnacle scraping every couple of decades. Even if its half-assed liked COIE or the New 52. Marvel hasn't really done that yet in its main universe. Just piecemeal stuff like OMD and Winter Soldier. They are just too bogged down in continuity and all the fixes just gets them deeper in the muck.

Finally! Previews for next (actually this) week.

I usually post them from CBR as it's easier to directly link to the previews, but CBR still hasn't provided previews and Newsarama has.

My pulls for the week will be...

    Avengers 30
    Avengers Academy 37
    Daredevil 18
    The Mighty Thor 20
    New Mutants 49

Ultimate Captain America is to become...

...President of the United States in the Ultimate Universe. Apparently, this will not affect his super-hero status. I don't know... 616 Steve I'd vote for in a heartbeat, but Ultimate Steve is a bit of a douche, isn't he?

Captain America briefly ran for President in 1976, but then so did Howard the Duck.
