Not quite as surreal as Steven King acting in movies based on his books and talking to characters he created. But up there, I'm sure.

I'll just assume you're exaggerating for effect. 90% humidity is not possible at 112F.

Which raises the question of what temperature and humidity you meant to type. Or did you accurately transcribe from a source document that itself contained a typo?

I typed that quite a while ago, but I seem to recall the humidity was like 60%.

If you look closely at the background of that scene, you'll notice a dog is chasing a cat and they're both walking....

I watched the episode last night and it was just as good as the original series. In some ways I liked this episode over some of the clunkers from that era. I do hope they continue!!

It was good, but as good as the original? Probably not. It would need a lot of work, rewriting and recasting some parts, for that.

Still, I enjoyed it. Good job guys.

Whatever you do, don't criticize Continues on their FB page. They have very thin skins and will immediately block you.

Why would they want to have criticisms on their public face?

They might want to have criticisms on their public face if only to demonstrate they are big enough to and willing to take criticism. At least that's why I generally leave criticism of Phase II on our various public faces intact. (I'm wondering if they remove all criticism from their public face, or if they only remove the ones that are construed as being negative.) Also, I guess I understand removing comments that are less than glowing from a PR standpoint, but banning the users seems unduly harsh. (If true.)

People post attacks on filmmakers at Star Trek Reviewed all the time. I only post those which are directed at the films. And some of you know that I do have feelings and opinions about the filmmakers, it had to be, I've been following this for four years now. But that's not the purpose of my website.

Sometimes, a person who hates the filmmaker has been clever enough to post an attack on their films, not on them. Once posted, the best I feel I can do is mention what I have discovered about that unfair attack.

It is certainly NOT true that STC removes all critiques of their films. They post positive ones and push them. They act like a group which expects to sell these films for money. I have to guess that there is an agenda here, but I don't know if it goes beyond ego to some plan to create an independent web series which they can post with commercials, or even to try to use commercials on their Trek series and challenge CBS to come after them.

Their commercials remind me of old Beatles stuff. And yes, I consider many of their postings to be commercials for their films.

    Time will tell!
