yep, I've seen that a lot as of late, I had no purple drops despite finishing bonus mission.

I can only assume developers like to make MACO gear more exclusive and harder to get, to late I've got enough for 3 MACO XII, 2 MACO XI sets and one MACO X set:D

Is anyone else having troubles loading Earth Spacedock?

I just docked, and it's been loading for about 10 minutes now.

*EDIT* Seriously hardly loading.... can I just use right click then close in Windows to shut it of and login again?

Well, loading issue solved, but I do have another question.

I got the daily Explore Strange New Worlds, from Glarr. So, I figure I got the Hromi Cluster. I explored 4 worlds, but still didn´t get ´mission complete´ or the 1440 dilitium. What did I do wrong?

The "Mission Complete" pops up quite fast, check your "In Progress" tab in mission logs to see if the mission has a tick next to it to turn in. Double-click if so.

Otherwise. go back to the Hromi Cluster and see if you have a message box near to where the "Enable Astrometrics" tab is, and where your officer communiques go if you close their dialogue. It'll say "Phi2347 system" or something along those lines (random system name). If so, it's likely one of those planets you explored asked you to deliver supplies (shield generators or the like) and you didn't have enough. Replicate or buy some (they usually want 10) and click the box to go back to the system and approach the planet to drop them off.

When you say you "got the Hromi Cluster", do you mean you also took a mission to explore that cluster? Because "Explore Strange New Worlds" wants you to complete one of those missions; by itself it doesn't track completion of explorations.

Ah.... I got Explore Strange New Worlds, but also two seperate missons to explore specific clusters. I figured I needed to explore a different cluster for the dilithium.
    I'll go and try.

@syberghost: Nope, always do normal, and it was just a regular solo episode (the one where the Borg invade that Romulan ship). I got knocked out, and revived with that injury. I had gotten knocked out before and after that, in the same room, and no injuries those times.

Bugs are fun, on rare occasions.

Yah, you have to have both missions active, and complete and resolve the "Explore X" mission before the "Explore Strange New Worlds" will complete.

If we're showing off our stuff, here's what I've got going on at the moment:

Swapped out for the Borg set (but with MACO shields) after the photo, i go back and forth on that one, but the Borg bonus with MACO shield is probably stronger...

Here's a stupid question: which equipment sets make your ship look different? I know the Borg, Jem-Hedar, and Aegis sets do, but are there others? And what equipment controls the look of what part of the looks of the ships? Looks like the shields change the hull, and at least the borg engines stick bits on the engines. Does the deflector also do the warp plasma color? I always forget what does what.

Honestly, that's the major factor in what equipment I put on my ship (heck, I would do Rainbow Skittles for my escort if it wouldn't kill my ability to actually destroy things).

Very few items actually change your ship's appearance. Here's the most drastic single item change:

A full Borg set is pretty major, but that's more than one item.

You can go to the Ship Tailor in spacedock to make some changes of your own, and some ships have "ship skins" for sale in the C-store. They don't make any of those anymore, though; they never sold well.

a few questions, what are shapeshifting lockets? Also you don't get refined dilithium for borg stuff? U get dilithium ore, as this is what i did, and got rather bad return, unless i have made mistake by selling it at DS9, i only got like 1020 diilithium for green and blue stuff and only 2040 dilithium ore for purple stuff, was thinking what's the point if you can only refine 8000 dilithium ore each day. I've been playing this toon only for 10-12 days since I've returned, have 2 other toons.

Also, what is this bank account about? can i deposit as much as i want/can or limit is 10 000 000 credits, and will affect my total account balance thus anything i sell on the exchange might be wasted. I am trying to figure things out since I got back from 10 months sabbatical and fleet i am in although active, is full of morons and can't get an honest answer on a simple question.

http://www.stowiki.org will tell you what items are, in quite a bit of detail.

The Account Bank is across all toons on your account, in either faction.

You can sell Dilithium for Zen; that's why the limits on it are low.

As a lifetime subscriber I actually find this very interesting.

    http://sto.perfectworld.com/news/?p=706971

So basically everyone with a lifetime subscription gets all the veteran rewards regardless of how long they've been subscribing for basically. Or at least thats what it looks like.

I don't have a problem with this. The game's almost three years old, and if this causes a bunch of people to buy LTS, then we all benefit; if it doesn't, then it doesn't affect us.

It's not like we worked for this; we spent the money and things just fell on us. It's not like they're getting a year of our monthly stipends up front.

Pretty much, it only shaves one day off for me to get the ships. I assume the reasoning is that it's a better enticement to get people to fork over that large sum of cash. At the end of the day, it really doesn't bother me much right now since this is meant to be the final veteran reward anyway.
