Oh, very cool. My brother loved the book this was based on, and this looks like it could be a visual masterpiece and great story. I'll be looking forward to this.

I'll be interested to see how audiences react to the ending.

Looks good. Seems like I saw some still photos from the movie a long time ago.

Looks phenomenal! I'm extremely anxious to see how this translates to film... There is very little dialog in the book, and most of the story is told through the thoughts and emotions of Pi. I hope they are able to convey those things on screen without ending up as nearly silent films like Castaway or 127 Hours.

^ Apparently, there are some fantasy elements to the story.

The trailer looks pretty great, I'm very much looking forward to this! Ang Lee rarely disappoints.

In the novel, the tiger can talk – a habit it reveals after a number of days lost at sea. (Though the possibility is left open that it's a hallucination on Pi's part. It remains to be seen how the movie will handle it, if at all.)

It would best be termed magical realism. I wouldn't categorise it as science fantasy. Looks good, although the music in the trailer doesn't seem apt somehow.

The entire island of the meerkats (seen briefly in the trailer) is fantastical, as are most of the characters and situations. I would classify the movie more as Fantasy than Sci-Fi, but luckily this forum is called the "Sci-Fi and Fantasy" forum.

I don't remember the tiger talking in the book?

Also, I kinda liked Lee's Hulk movie, actually. Haven't revisited it since I saw it in the theater though, so I don't know how it holds up.
