No Freeview signal where I am, unfortunately. (I even tried scanning again tonight.) :( I'll have to ask my Parent Units™ if they'd lend me their Virgin Media TV tonight for half an hour or so.

    EDIT: They say Yes. :D
Well, I set off later than planned - got my sleep in the morning instead. ;) Apart from some traffic in places, a surprisingly smooth ride. Mister Falcon (my car) has served me well yet again. :D

But yeah, these 6 or 7 hour drives do tire me out.

I did however spend half an hour coming back to my own house (neglected for nearly 2 weeks now), watering the dying plants, picking up my mail (surprsingly very little of importance), checking my voice mail messages (the same message 8 times), and then decided to visit the loft, look at all the things there including my broken computer (which will one day be fixed and upgraded... one day :)), and just stood there taking everything in. It was a wonderful half hour or so. :)

More experiments with 3d and lighting. I'm having quite a productive morning :)

I will probably just spend the day relaxing and watching my netflix movie "The Dark Knight" as I saved it for the special occasion. I'll probably take a walk around the neighborhood..other than that, nothing really big happening here either. I used to hunt for eggs when I was little but since I've gotten older, I don't do that anymore or get Easter baskets. :( Oh well..maybe will eat some jellybeans and watch some movies and spend time either here or Starscape tomorrow. :)

An update on my weekend: Last night my friends recruited me into a game of Uno that lasted for about four hours, then we sat around eating cake and talking until 4 AM. I went to bed. Tonight I will be meeting up with a different group of friends at 10 PM for a movie marathon, which will involve at least one episode of MST3K, and we will probably be awake all night.

Since Easter Monday is technically part of Easter weekend, for those of us who have today off, I'm enjoying it with my daughter. This afternoon, she's off to daycare, and my wife and I will be off to the casino.

No holiday for me. I'm at work now, but looking forward to the leftovers at lunch time.

Easter's not really a big deal for me, so I just enjoyed having a few extra days off work (in fact, I've also taken a couple of days annual leave tomorrow & Wednesday). I didn't really do anything special over the long weekend. Relaxed, watched the Masters, did a bit of shopping, etc, etc. I did go out for lunch with a friend today. Lovely weather; could really feel some heat on my back for the first time this year & commemorated the event by having the first G&T of the season over our al fresco lunch on the terrace of one of the nicer restaurants here. Then helped him with a bit of light gardening in the afternoon before going home and capping off the Easter weekend by rotating my wardrobe from autumn/winter to spring/summer. Always a fun ritual!
