    I look at written Kree, and see elements of Cardassian. The designers of both got their inspiration from something in the real worlds' writing systems, and I'm trying to remember if I've seen that inspiration on Omniglot.com. Ogham, maybe?

    Yeah, I hope he gets out of his coma too. However, he is in safekeeping until needed for that. Maybe they can cure his coma and Fitz's coma at the same time.

    Interesting quote from Executive Producer Jeffrey Bell over at TVLine.com (WARNING: Spoilers for other TV series at the other end of that link!):

    “Coulson was always interested in getting back to the roots of S.H.I.E.L.D., to the kind of organization it used to be — you know, this small, covert, ‘men in black’ kind of thing. And I think you get a feel for that when we come into the second season.”

    But he's not going to be able to keep it "small, covert" forever, is he?

    The MCU people wanted Hydra, realized there was no believable prior indication of SHIELD fighting a bunch of meganazis, and managed to cleverly bring them into the 21st century by mashing Operation Paperclip up with ODESSA. In the process, they brought SHIELD down a notch to make them more under-doggish.

    Win-win-win. (hail hydra)

    That said, the idea of taking Operation Paperclip and ODESSA and running with those historical facts was inspired in its simplicity.

    How will relations run between the new S.H.I.E.L.D. and the U.S. military? I doubt Talbot made a favorable report to his superiors, but taking down the Deathlok program and turning over the remnants has got to count for something, right?
