I probably should just Google this, but are those suicide doors in back? (That's probably not what they're actually called either...)

The 2001 Accord Sedan is in the driveway still, but about to be donated.

Still have a 2002 Toyota Sequoia, which is the perfect school bus, ski mobile.

Just bought a 2013 Hyundai Veloster, having much fun with it...

I googled the term and it looks like you're referring to doors that hinge at the rear? They're not, if that's what you're asking. They open like normal doors, just with the handle near the top. Actually a lot of people assume it's a two-door because they don't realize those are doors at the back immediately.

Nissan has had those window handles for a while.

    My old Pathfinder had them.

I used to own a Saturn (not an Ion - I can't remember the model name or number, but this was back in like 1992). At the time, I thought it was cool - and I definitely appreciated the no-haggling-over-price policy - but my attitude towards Saturns has definitely soured over the years. Mine sucked as a winter car (which, in my circumstances, is important to have!). I lost count of the number of times I got that damn thing stuck in the snow. I honestly hope Saturns have gotten better in the time since I owned one - all I know is, based on what I remember, I wouldn't recommend a Saturn to anyone who even thinks about driving one in the snow.

^ Saturn is no more, GM tried selling the brand but the deal fell through. So they skuttled the brand.

It's funny, the engine is running ok, but the rest of the car is falling apart. The heat/air conditioning only works on full blast, the driver's side door handle is broken so I have to pry the handle up with a key, I think the timing belt is going. I'm not sure if I want to spend the money to get it all fixed, or just go for a new car.

We have a 2009 Honda Accord coupe and I ride a 2006 Honda Shadow VLX Deluxe. Looking for a 4-door with good gas mileage to use when riding the bike isn't practical and in preparation for having kids.

Mine isn't the best winter car, I know this thanks to the recent snowstorm, but the rest of the year it's solid. :D

    A shame, too, IMO.

Yeah, something newer might be in order.

2000 Jeep Cherokee. I love the 4.0 liter engine (almost 300,000 KM on it) and the 4WD. It pulls our boat with ease.
2001 PT Cruiser. A little 4 banger (175,000 KM on it) that is fun to drive and easy on gas. I just wish we had the convertible for the summer months.

1999 Chevy Cavalier. But i think I have a new car in my near future. This thing is getting hard to start anytime it's less than 40 degrees out. Also needs a few other repairs.

I have a 2000 Saturn. I've paid for a lot of work on the car in the last year, year and a half, but it still drives relatively well all things considered.

My old car got wrecked in an accident back in February. Thankfully no one was hurt. I bought a 2008 Toyota Prius to replace it. I've been quite happy with it these past 10 months and am loving how cheap gas is once again.

It seems that the US and European markets for cars are really different, because I recognize maybe 1/3 of the cars mentioned in this thread. And that's an optimistic estimate.
