Definitely this May. I am committed. Or should be anyway.

 

My friend, your updates are an inspiration to us all. It's great to be in the zone in any fan production. May we ride it with you until the episode is released!

Dunno about the zone, but it's good to be making progress.

 

Okay, so that leaves one more scene to finish ADR work on for The Stone Unturned. This one's a bit of a monster, but luckily it's mostly just tweaking, since most of the assembly was done a while back. Once that's locked up, it'll be back to do some final polish on a few scenes, then off to Bodo Hartwig for the final sound mix.

 

Thank you for all your hard work... I have enjoyed your work and am looking forward to this new episode.

I'll make a virtual wager of your favorite pint that when the episode comes out, the issues that have you so worried now are barely noticed in passing by the viewers who comment on it. Deal?

 

One of these days he'll have to come to terms with the fact that nobody's perfect.

 

Oh I'm pretty philosophical about it all. At the end of the day, it is what it is. We learned stuff doing it, some of it's done well, some of it isn't. I'm okay with that.

 

Finally finished assembling the last of the ADRed scenes. Went back and tweaked another two scenes and have started putting the complete audio track together. Currently trying to open up Steve Hammond's project files so I can do the final assembly, though that's proving more problematic than I'd hoped. Getting there though.

Assembling the dialogue has been an absolute b***h, but the improvements, while not perfect, have been well worth the effort.

 

Doesn't really tell you much, but here's what I've been working on this morning.

 

Holy cow, is that CS4?!

 

Oh, and I'd love to come up and film something with you guys. It'll give me an excuse to visit some friends up there...

I appreciate the offer, and will almost certainly take you up on it. I'm hoping to get something together this year, so will keep you posted.

 

I've mostly finished reassembling the project files, just need to restore some missing FX shots and possibly make a couple of final tweaks to one scene that's been bothering me.

It's going a little slower than I'd hoped, but I'm still confident we'll have The Stone Unturned done next month.
