So, is anybody playing this game?

I was a HUGE fan of the old Acendancy DOS game, and this Steam offering is a lot in line with that. Endless Space is basicly a turn based strategy game in space, colonize planets, build fleets, gather resources and all that sort of thing. I can tell you now, I've given up playing Civ V for this game. I really REALLY like this game.

The interface for this game is just so intuitive and easy to use, though figuring out how to build ships and use your fleets isn't very obvious.

I'm guess I'm just a big fan of turn based strategy games, and this being in space and colonizing planets and such was just an instant fun thing for me. I haven't had this much fun with a game since Alpha Centauri.

A modern turn based game? Wow, I thought they died off with Masters of Orion. I'll have to check this out.
