I kind of like the cover, if only for the increased possibility we'll get a fancy new shot of the Aventine on one of the other book covers or the Titan on James Swallow's novel!

Yes that was what I am expecting too. That leads me too believe there will be something really cool and unexpected on the other book.

Same here. The cover is pretty boring. Let's hope it's just an interim.

Or an old shot on a different garishly coloured background ?

I really like the cover for The Crimson Shadow. I think it's visceral and intriguing.

Hmm... generally I *love* ship covers, but that one just seems... dull. I'm sure the book will be great, though! :techman:

Seriously... is that a thing? I can't get enough of Bacco.

We haven't seen any Bacco since last year's Cold Equations. I don't think there's Bacco overload.

Well, I'm still hopeful for a new one based on the new model that Tobias Richter has recently revealed.

The synopsis sounds great, but I have no artistic ability and am pretty sure I could make that cover if given 5 minutes in front of a generic Photoshop

Will it be noticed as a "new book" on a shelf in the shop? Oh yes indeed! I like it!

Really looking forward to this.Una really gets the paranoia and intrigue that lies in every Cardassian heart.
I've always been disappointed that post-war Cardassia hasn't been used as a backdrop more(treklits own West Berlin).

Oh I wouldn't let anything like that stop me. And I'm a couple dozen pages into the book and I'm already loving it more than any Trek book I've read in a year. :)

I quite like it. The covers have been a lot of faces for a while now, so a cycle of books with ships and stations will be a nice change.

I'm glad DS9 is center stage again. Can't wait to see the final two covers.

I definitely like that cover a lot better! It has a very nice composition to it. I don't mind if the covers are of ships or planets- I just prefer for there to be something visually interesting going on.

Crimson Shadow really doesn't tell you much about what's going on, its just a ship floating on a red background.

I love this cover. Definitely a lot more interesting than The Crimson Shadow.
