His Supreme Awesomeness has impressed it into my mind to create this counterpart to the "Facts About Captain Robau" thread, with the express purpose of speculation as to the true fate of The Robau, following his alleged demise at the hands of Nero. Robau returns from the alleged grave. There is no doubt about that. Our collective duty is to theorize as to HOW. Granted, our limitedly bad- minds cannot truly comprehend it--but we owe it to him to give our concepts. Of course, considering the Parallel Universe Theory, our theories will possibly ALL be true. Especially the Bull. So--WRITE, FELLOW IMBECILES!!! BTW...here's mine own theory, assembled with the help of a few others: http://www.trekbbs.com/showthread.php?t=116960&highlight=robau&page=4
The last we heard, the Klingons have the body - from when they captured the Narada. (Nero had ordered the body be thrown into the replicator for 'recycling' but the Klingons captured the ship before he could do that.) It is possible that the Klingons healed Robau so that they could interrogate him for knowledge of the future. Not that he'd tell them anything, of course. He'd kill them all with one Robau glare.
Sounds like he could be the new Dos Equis guy. "He can speak Klingon in Romulan. He is the most interesting man in the galaxy."
The Klingons found Robau and they wanted to make him their new God. Robau declined, but ass-banged every Klingon instead. Twice. This explains why some Klingons were smooth-headed.
Technically, Robau lived on in the original/Prime timeline. They could always write a book or two set in THAT original history before Nero changed it.
In the new timeline, the Romulan Empire must be aware of Nero and and what he's done and why, and pass that knowledge on to the future. What's to stop future Romulans from sending agents back in time and changing the past again, and again, and again. Robau could be alive in yet another alternate reality, so could Nero and Ayel et al.
