I know, right? It's already a karaoke legend/staple amongst my friends. Now we don't even have to leave the comfort of my own home... And the two Queen songs.
The ones i know and like: Too bad they couldn't get Cameo's version of word up, or the cover from the band Gun... Korn, blech...
If Lego Rock Band and/or Band Hero are hits, I bet Activision will try to reach an even younger audience. Barney Hero?
Triangle hero! Picked up the Metal Track Pack... for some reason. Vocals on these tracks suck. And I'm surprised that they still use the Rock Band 1 engine. It's weird to see Rock Band 1 after all this time.
What I want to know is if they're going to do anything for Wii owners to get the Lego RB songs into RB2, or if they are going to make us disc swap like we have to for the RB1 songs. I'm even willing to pay a higher per-song cost if some of those are in the Rock band store.
I suppose the only hope is if they sell the tracks individually. I don't think they're even considering doing that though.
The Queen 10-pack Yoda mentioned a few pages back is coming out the week of Oct. 18, which doesn't include "We Will Rock You" or "We Are the Champions" since they're on Lego Rock Band.
There's also the little fact that "All You Need Is Love" already secured the spot as the fastest-selling (and, I think, best-selling) piece of DLC in Rock Band's history.
Given how fast Beatles dropped off the top ten I wonder if anyone is playing the game anymore. I guess the DLC gives people an excuse to pop it in anyway.
It's been the only game in my 360 since it came out. I most likely won't stop playing it for a long time.
I'll pop in Beatles for the Abbey Road... but the RB2 disc stays in my Xbox most of the time, so even if I vaguely feel like Beatles I won't bother to swap. I mean, I have a good 500 songs on RB2, I need to be in a very specific mood to play just some 50 odd Beatles songs.
Although it's apparently outsold Guitar Hero 5, by a solid 100,000 units or so: http://ps3.ign.com/articles/103/1036638p1.html
