    I have a Dell Inspiron 545
    Installed Memory 4.00 GB
    64-bit operating system
    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q300 @2.50 GHz 2.50 GHz

I'm wondering what a good video card to get would be. I want to play Star Wars The Old Republic. My computer meets all the specifications except the video card, which is one of those Intel built in dealies.

    Can anyone help?

I have a GeForce GTX 550 Ti, good mid-range card that runs SWTOR and Far Cry 3:Blood Dragon without problems at highest settings...

I agree any GeForce card that meets your requirements will be good.

Just about the only original component from the computer I built several years ago is the video card (EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS)

So that one is compatible with my computer?

Thanks guys, I'll look into it.

Assuming your motherboard has the proper slot for your choice of video card, it's just a matter of the correct driver.

If you really want to go nuts with comparisons, try newegg. I've built two pcs from that site, great fun.

I just looked at his PCs specs and it's new enough with PCIe slots...
And the current mid-range Geforce cards is the 600-series...
