Sorry for the delay. This week's contest is The Big Guy: large, wide or tall characters in scifi film, television, comics and/or books. To narrow it down some, the character should have actual lines or appear with human actors in scenes where they interact. So, Chewy in Star Wars, yes, but Godzilla, no. They should be able to interact directly with people in some way, not just be some rampaging monster. Examples: Jabba, Chewy, Iron Giant, Hodor, Treebeard, Darth Vader, Ronan in SGA, Apollo in TOS, or even Richard Kiel in Moonraker.

I'll try to get the poll up on Thursday. Standard BBS av rules apply. Please do not submit avs you do not intend to enter.

Since it's technically just a normal-sized man in a giant robot, I don't think this one qualifies:

Which is good, because I really feel better about entering the great, and great big, Carel Struycken, in just some of his roles:

I am so conflicted. Do I vote for this because Kilowog, or not vote for this because Green Lantern movie.

Well, don't think about the movie as a whole. What did you think of the movie's Kilowog?
