Hmm... well, this was my source, but they seem to have rewritten the passage. I guess they misinterpreted. Sorry.

Sleepy Hollow looks seriously insane--in a good way.

The 100 and Tomorrow People look cool, but the clip for Star-Crossed didn't really do much for me.

It is amazing how on-brand all the CW shows are.

Angsty teenagers hundreds of years ago.
    Angsty teenagers as superheroes.
Angsty teenagers in high school with aliens.
    Angsty teenagers as immortal vampires.
    Angsty teenagers in the future.

All who are ridiculously good looking. All who talk, and act like present day American teenagers.

I'll give them a try, but all the high concept genre-y trappings can't disguise that these are very much typical CW shows.

If you're referring to Arrow, its lead superhero character is 28 years old in-story, and the rest of the characters mostly range from upper 20s to early 50s, with only his kid sister and her boyfriend being 18 or so.

I think he's referring to The Tomorrow People.

Yeah, Tomorrow People is what I was referring to.

Arrow isn't quite as on-brand for the CW.

^Which is my point -- that not everything the network does is the same.

But was he referring to all CW shows ever, or just the crop of new CW picks, 'cause it looks like the latter to me.

Anyway The 100 trailer looks alright. I'll wait for some reviews and if similarly positive I'll give it a look-see.

^He said "all the CW shows." Maybe he meant "all the new CW shows," but I can only read words, not minds.

If you're referring to The Originals, isn't Rebekah the only one who's trying to pass herself off as a teenager? Klaus and Elija never really struck me as teenish. Most of the other characters in the backdoor pilot didn't seem to be teens either.

While the CW's remake of the Tomorrow People certainly "fits" the specific brand you accuse it of, the source material dates back to the British ITV channel back in the early 70s. When TP premiered, that "other" famous British show, the one on the BBC, starred Tom Baker.
