The Supreme Court's problem was punting the decision the first time, rather than upholding Florida's decision to force a recount, or vacating it in favor of then existing Florida law which left the decision in the hands of a political hack.
^ Agreed. A new vote would have been the best option. The flawed system I was referring to is the Electoral College. The idea someone with a massive popular vote percentage losing at all is ridiculous.
