Sorry for the delay folks, haven't been on the net all that much these last two days and just plum forgot all about the contest. Never mind though, on with the show.

This week's theme is Escape, both literally and figuratively. Anything goes as long as you can justify it by linking it back to escape.

    Have at it! :D

^ You know, I actually thought about doing that. :D

That gets one of my votes right there.

    Thanks.

First thing I thought of. Since TSR is my favorite film EVER, it gets a vote of mine!

And Chicken Run gets one, too. Nick Park is my personal hero

Hmm, much as I hate to see a Serenity Av go, I think that this contest really ought to stick to non Sci-Fi & Fantasy avatars, since we've already got the other thread for those. Sorry Tuln, Tharp.

    Anyway, my entry:

What film is that Todd? Was thinking of doing a similar scene earlier, only from the movie version of The Fugitvie.

I don't think Tuln's av is sci-fi/fantasy. It's the cover of a rock band's (Journey) album, titled Escape. A pretty darn popular album, at that. Just my opinion, of course.

Oh, in that case, never mind. :)

I'll have the poll up later tonight, in case anyone wants to add any last minute entries.

Ah, well that explains it. ;)

Thanks for helping! I really appreciate it. I haven't been frequenting as much as I like.

Surely I can see where it would be considered sci fi fantasy.. I mean tha5t cover is trippy. But as you pointed out, it falls into general media because it is a rock album.

But then again if I used the cover to 2112, that might cause confusion LOL
