^ For my cats, it would just be the siren call of The Highest Place in the Room. No particular temptation needed. (Pun intended.) The Tom Cat condoms are for me?! I can think of several ways to interpret that. Interesting article.
I've been chosen as human custodian by yet another stunning feline. I give to you my new out-of-the-blue cat, Matilda. She just showed up around the house a few days ago, just like my other blue-eyed cat, Smaranda. She has already made herself very comfortable. It's as if she's always been part of the family.
She is beautiful Aliennesse! Is her personality as sweet as her expression is? How are the other cats feeling about their new kid sister?
Thanks! Yes, I actually am a cat magnet! This is the fourth to gravitate towards me in a the past few years. I ain't complaining though. I always feel it's an honor to be chosen by a cat. Yes, she has the sweetest disposition, just like Smaranda. She's very pleased when I carry her around in my arms and she even allows me to rub her tummy, which I hear is the ultimate trust sign in cats. Amazing, considering she's only been around me for a few days.
Cutie!!! My cats have been at the kennel for the last 8 days, and I finally get to pick them up tomorrow. I loved where I'd been...but I've been going CRAAAAAZY wanting my babies back!
Matilda looks quite regal in those snaps: ignoring the camera an' all and what a beautie she is When I woke up this morning there was a present from my kitty on the rug: a dead bird... The cat wasn't interested so I had to clean up the mess alone
Isn't that always the way? They bring you a gift, then refuse to help clean up the mess... I was told my cats did that because they knew I couldn't hunt for myself...
But why would they feed someone who's clearly feeding them? Apparently the dream about my cat catching the same bird three times IN the bedroom last night wasn't one
Most definitely. Don't need anymore strays out there. There are already enough that still need to be adopted.
Thanks, guys! I'll pass on the compliments! Yeah, cats have a special flair for looking regal, it's probably part of their DNA.
I finally got a cat, after about 4 years without one. I found this adorable Maine Coon/Tabby mix at a local pet rescue place. I brought him home Wednesday night and we had our first vet visit this afternoon. His name is Junior (he came pre-named; not sure if we'll keep it) and he's 10 months old, and already weighs 10 lbs. He's very long with big feet and a huge tail. He's just a big fluff ball and is a very mellow guy. He's still a bit freaked out being in a new place and keeps crawling under things (like right now; he's under my desk). But even not-big-animal-fan-hubby is already petting him and holding him in his lap. Junior is a surprisingly mellow guy. I can pick him up, sling him over my shoulder, put in his crate, and he doesn't even resist.
Congratz with the new family-member (he's definitely a bit of a cutie!) That'll change! as soon as he feels a bit more at home.
