this is really sad news. i always enjoyed his portrayal of Cmdr. Sinclair i've been putting off re-watching B5 in favour of new shows but i think the time has come to start. RIP Michael
So sad to see another actor pass away so young. I too have always defended that Sinclair wasn't played "Wooden" because Michael O'Hare was an awful actor, but, rather he was played "Bottled Up with a Hole in his Mind" by a god actor, because that's who the Character was supposed to be.
Ain't THAT the truth. And the irony of this for me is that I just finished a complete Babylon 5 rewatch on DVD this morning. What is that now? Four cast members gone?
An underrated actor (caught him on Law & Order a couple of times) and from what I've heard a fine father. R.I.P. and condolences to your family and friends.
I had just watched War Without End on Thursday during my Babylon 5 rewatch and I was so excited to see Sinclair in the show again. And then he dies the next day.
Adding my condolences - so sad, so young. It makes one think that God must be a big Babylon 5 fan, that He keeps calling them to Him so soon...
That would imply that heaven is just the ultimate Babylon 5 convention. And if so, well, um, no thanks. "All you had to do was put up with one fan..."
Very sad to hear this news. I really liked watching B5 back in the day, when Star Trek TNG was the only alternate. I appreciated how they brought him back later, for the surprise twist. It prompted me to dig and watch "The Gathering" on DVD. TNT revised edit with Franke score and added Sinclair awesome scenes, like the hostage negotiation.
Sad news indeed. Rest In Peace Commander. It is strange. It's weird, but you'd think that we'd be hearing about more Trek actors dying because of the huge amount of cast members across all the various incarnations.
