As Stan Lee was having his cameo, referring to gamma rays and that he shouldn't be made angry, there was a nice bit of very quiet "The Incredible Hulk Theme" in the music. Always loved that music.
The guy standing in back of Stan is his real life PA/Bodyguard/Manager, he does almost everything for Stan. I have hung around with both of them this past October. Stan is cool on, and off the screen.
It was pretty quiet and there were pauses. And a bit jazzy (i just watched again). But there it was. They repeat, so tape and forward to that scene. It's just before the midway break and only lasts about a minute or two.
Good to see the Generalissimo again. And on an episode with Wil Wheaton and Felicia Day. I love Eureka!
I wondered if anyone else caught that. Fargo, "You work with gamma radiation bursts, don't you?" later, Lee, "Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry."
It would have been hard to miss, since his name was in the opening credits. I was a little surprised at that. Aren't his movie cameos usually uncredited? Generalissimo, indeed. Well, at least it's better than being known as General Lee.
Loved that episode! It had references to other science fiction productions by the truckload (almost fell off my chair during that remake of the "Starship Troopers" opening).
I enjoyed the episode and thought it was a great Stan Lee cameo. “You’re running this thing son?” “What are you, twelve?” “Dr. Lee is it? “I prefer Generalissimo, but Dr. Lee will do.”
I'm one of the visual effects artists for Eureka. I didn't know that Stan Lee was in the episode until we were watching dailies. The compositor was doing the "burn in" of the graphics that was on the screen behind Stan. When that shot came up, we were all like "hey Stan Lee's in the episode?!". The comper didn't bother to let anyone know!
