Spoiler: Flowers for Your Grave Richard Castle is called in to help police after two murders look very similar to murders from his books. The good news: ABC gave it the post-Dancing With the Stars timeslot. The bad news: A certain overacting and rapidly-aging redhead owns that timeslot, and Frank, when you play with fire... (puts on sunglasses) ...you're bound to get burned. YYYYYEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
I'm gonna check this out. Might be weird seeing Fillion in something non genre. Drive was non genre I suppose, but it was still a Minear show.
What time does this come on again. I'm CST so let me know if you give it in another time zone so I can adjust accordingly.
It's a change to see Fillion not as a space cowboy/demonic priest. Or the cop and Stana Katic(say that 10 times fast) as the damsel author please don't cancel, please don't cancel. I hate thinking about how the actor's feel when a show gets cancelled oh and Stana Katic
That was a fun, lighthearted show. I wonder if it was actually intended for Fillion since it seemed tailored to some of what he can do. It also seemed like CSI in a sense that on that show, crime lab people are also fully capable as real cops, and in this show a writer is as capable as a real cop. If anyone cares, the judge is the voice of Homer Simpson and the dying multi-millionaire father is Dave Bowman. And I believe the blonde is Monet Mazur:
I liked it. There was a lot of fun moments. I liked Cannell and Patterson! I liked Kier Dullea. I liked Homer Simpson. I liked the mother and the daughter. The plot was not obvious or obtuse. Reminds me of Columbo. I hope they keep the light tone. I'll tune in next week.
I liked it. Not crazy over it or anything but it's entertaining enough. I'm not wild about procedurals but this along with "Lie To Me" surprised me this year. Like "House" there's a little more to them than just "whodunnit." Not a lot more, to be sure, but enough. I'll give this another shot next week. As long as the whole thing doesn't get too dour and Fillion keeps doing his thing I'm sure it'll be an okay little show.
