Electronic Gaming Monthly seems to think so: Obviously, more Halo games isn't exactly a surprise, as know that Peter Jackson and WETA are also working on some sort of game, not to mention Ensemble is working on the upcoming Halo Wars RTS. If Bungie can make this one as fun as the other games in the Master Chief trilogy, I say go for it.
Max Payne 3! Woo. I just find it odd that Bungie would go to all the trouble of becoming indie just to go ahead and make another Halo game. Like, why?
The article says that the separation deal has been rumored to have included a provision that Bungie make at least one more game specifically for Microsoft Game Studios. Bungie may have decided that doing that as a Halo game made the most sense, so that they could have their next original IP be on any console(s) they want.
I just assumed that MGS had right of first refusal on all Bungie games anyway. Still, I guess they can't just churn out Halo Uno and call it a day.
Hmm, another ten hours of crawling through identical rooms and passageways, with more servers full of teabagging fratboys on the side? I'll pass.
i'd actually like to see the arbiter chronicles, where he has to eradicate the rest of the brutes, and i'd like to get some answers on the chief and that forerunner dyson sphere
yeah, the original halo had a few generic levels (the ship levels) but you have to admit that even then it had some beautiful looking scenery, and halo 3 looked INCREDIBLE and as for the servers full of fratboys and teabagging, you are gonna get that EVERYWHERE humans are dicks
Not on the PC... because you actually get banned for being a dick. Some kick you for swearing, which I think is a bit too much but gets the point across. On Live, since all you get is a lower star rating... although I don't think that feedback system even works. They say "play with friends"... except I don't know anyone who plays Halo 3 or CoD4 really. And neither game does co-op (well), so that's not even an option. Now, if MS ripped off Steam and let people join groups and then join games that people in the group are playing... that'd be genius.
