    ^Ah, didn't catch the reference.

    Now on to the quote:

    Parallel universes.
The idea that all possible realities existed at once. That the space-time continuum was literally infinite--that somewhere out there was a universe containing every possible you, the you who had decided to wear a blue shirt that morning, had chosen to be a teacher, marry your high-school sweetheart, go away to college, join Starfleet. A universe where Zephram Cochrane hadn't discovered the warp engine, where the Klingons had been the ones to make first contact with humanity, where A. G. Robinson commanded Enterprise.

How can Federation have possibly made a reference to A. G. Robinson?

No, I'm thinking that Federation came out years before Enterprise did.

My original answer was the Q Continum trilogy series.

I then thought that maybe Federation made more sense.

I'm not sure if I'm right though (probably not)

Marc... Q Continuum doesn't make any sense for the same reason as Federation...

Maybe he didn't know who A. G. Robinson is--I don't--and assumed it was a random name.
