I've really been enjoying Halo Reach for the past 10 days nice ending (or start) to the Bungie era of the franchise.
EF2 went in ok. I'm anticipating an issue with EF1 (I'm on a Win7 64) when it comes to installing but people say that there are ways around it. EF2 may look better, but for the game itself, I preferred the first one.
Goldeneye Wii Mostly on multiplayer. Haven't finished the game. Just finished BTTF:the game Short but nice
had a end of year game night with some friends yesterday and played Limbo for first time because it was 33% off on LIVE. Finished it this morning and its a nice little gem indeed .
I finally, finally started playing Halo Reach. I think I'm three missions in and it's pretty good stuff. I still miss the story of Master Chief and Cortana though, I really struggle to care about any other characters in the Haloverse. Speaking of which I just saw the first cut scene with Dr Halsey in it. I just read the Halo novels (Fall of Reach and First Strike) and in the books the Spartans have a mother-like devotion to her, but in this scene the one Spartan is threatening to throw her in jail for treason. WTF? Also, why was she behind a glass wall like she was infected with a disease or something?! If they explain later in the game don't spoil me
Playing Black Ops but so far don't like it as much as MW 2, the games engine feels a little stiffer and slower than MW 2. Also SP stuff is so recycled from MW 2, another bike chase and rooftop bit, try something new please. Also friendly A.I not as good as in last few games, which is strange Online feels less balanced than MW 2, the levels are awful way too small and less enaging to new players overall. Zombie mode is a little better but I would prefer a more objective structure rather than the level rounds it has. At moment 7 or 7.5 score, with the exception of piss poor COD 3 I've given past COD games... COD 1/2 & 4 = 9 out of 10 COD WAW & MW 2 = 8.5 so not good.
I played Halo: Reach, Halo 3: ODST, and Black Ops over Christmas break. I would say that Reach had the most intense gameplay and I found it harder than Halo three. I really enjoyed firefight mode on it. I thought Black Ops had the most epic story; my draw had literally dropped by the time I completed the campaign. Very cool and original story. ODST was the most fun to play out of the three. It just might be my favorite halo because it wasn't trying to tell an epic story and was just a fun fps with more humor than any of the other halos. It also had a sense of comraderie and teamwork, something I found lacking in the other halos.
Still flag hunting in Assassins Creed before I can start AC2 - I've got all but two flags in Damascus and 6 in the Kingdom. Started GTA IV as well
Just finished Shining the holy ark, starting up Magic Knight Rayearth also playing Minecraft and Halo:Reach, sort of
