Probably put together by the same hotrod shop that did my May Art Challenge Entry.

Those guys probably have a show on the 24th century version of the Discovery Channel. Imperial Chopper: S'nor vs. Ja'un'nia.

Originally, I was going to make a Poser-based poster for the challenge on Star Trek Artists Unite on deviantArt ("make a movie poster for any Trek episode of any series"), but I ended up sticking completely with typography for this one:

(Incidentally, the bar code is also the title - I was looking for ways to play with the "black and white" concept throughout the image; the "=" in the date is also subtly significant, my way of stating that they were, in fact, equals).

didn't think these deserved a separate thread

I felt like cooking up a new design, and this is the start of it
it's a Nebula class refit, decided to go with USS Endeavor (yeah, like the world needs another Endeavor)
    this time NCC-82035
probably early 25th century, no uber stuff on it . . . just the regular assortment of weapons/shuttles etc
and of course the 'super sensors'

I like to think that after his time on Titan, Ra-Havreii went back to working on new ships, and the Nebula refit was one of the designs he pitched in on, and the Endeavor wasn't one of his personal projects, but used his template from other Nebula refits
that's just what came through my head while drawing this guy up . . . I fully expect the treklit powers that be to go a different way :p

    well here's the pics
    [IMG] [IMG]

please pardon my lack of scanner
also the saucer oval in the top view wouldn't be visible under the 'wings' of the sensor sail
I printed the oval out of autocad so I could have a decent shape . . . oval is tough to do freehand as evidenced by the underside pic :ouch:

Would you mind if I had a dabble at this design myself? I would like to make a draft in flash with clean lines to get a better understanding of it. Its one of the most original designs I've seen in ages yet maintaining a definite canon standard without being a kitbash wreck

since I can't make up my mind this is now the Carina Class instead of a Nebula refit

also can't decide on nacelle placement . . . need to do the front view to finalize it I guess

just watch . . . I'll rename it tomorrow :ouch:

Just looking at the top view, I keep seeing the sensor platform in a gullwing arrangement.
